आओ करें नव-वर्ष का स्वागत!
चलो सखी सब मंगल गाएं,
देहरी, आंगन ,चौक सजाकर।
तोरण अपने द्वार लगाकर,
हम अपना नववर्ष मनाएं।
प्रकृति की सुंदरता ऐसी,
चंचल गांव की गोरी जैसी।
ओढ बसंती चुनरी वसुधा,
यहां लहराए, वहां इठलाए।
मन हुआ जाता आनंदित,
सूरज की किरणें भी पुलकित।
फूली – फली है धरती माता,
झंकृत रोम-रोम हो जाए।
अपने पर्वों त्यौहारों की,
सारे जग से बात निराली है।
हर इक में कोई राज छिपा,
निरी बात ना बनी बनाए।
चैत्र शुक्ल प्रतिपदा सुहानी,
हमको इस दिन से प्यार है।
भारत भूमि का ये नववर्ष,
हर बार इसे हम शीश नवाएं….।
